今回のテーマ / THIS THEME
戦争や災害のニュースを目にするたび、アーティストとして何ができるのかを考えてきました。
作品をつくることで、大きな問題がすぐに変わるとは思っていません。
でも、だから何もしない、というのも違う。
そこで今回は、これまで続けてきたPoieverywhereという、
POIを街の中に置くプロジェクトで、
「HOPE FOR...」をかたちにしました。
大きな答えではありません。自分にできる、小さな行為です。
「HOPE FOR...」の先に何を思い描くかは、あなたの中にあります。
Whenever I see news of wars and disasters, I find myself asking what I can do as an artist.
I don’t think making art can immediately change things on that scale.
But doing nothing doesn’t feel right either.
So this time, through Poieverywhere—
an ongoing project in which I place POIs throughout the city—
I gave form to “HOPE FOR...”
It is not a big answer.
It is a small act, one I can do.
What comes after “HOPE FOR...” is yours to imagine.

都市の中に小さな存在を置くことで、日常の風景に別の入口をひらけるか。
そして、その偶然の出会い自体が作品になりうるか。
Can placing a small presence in the city open another entrance within everyday scenery?
And can that accidental encounter itself become a work of art?
POIEVERYWHERE PROJECT(PP)とは？ / WHAT IS PP?
PP（Poieverywhere Project）は、
POIという小さな彫刻を都市の中に置き、
そこで生まれる場所・出会い・記録までを
ひとつの作品として捉える、継続的なアートプロジェクトです。
PP (Poieverywhere Project) is an ongoing art project that places small POI sculptures throughout the city and considers the place, encounter, and record as part of the work.
